VisiBlue™ is a non-inhibitory, visually detectable dye designed to improve pipetting accuracy and traceability in PCR and qPCR setups. This innovative mastermix color indicator allows users to visually confirm the presence and proper distribution of reagents during plate loading, reducing human error and improving reproducibility.

It is compatible with most commercial and custom qPCR and PCR master mixes and does not affect amplification efficiency, sensitivity, or specificity.

qPCR Mix Colorant
VisiBlue™ 2000 reactions

The VisiBlue™ qPCR mix colorant enables you to quickly color your favourite qPCR mastermix to easily visualize where the reagent has been added to your plates and tubes. By a simple addition to your mastermix, VisiBlue™ is very easy to use.

Description

Traditional colorless reagents can be difficult to visualize when dispensed. Several modern qPCR instruments and reagent manufacturers recommend white plates which increase fluorescence signal, but also make pipetting more difficult. The VisiBlue™ qPCR mix colorant enables you to quickly color your favourite qPCR mastermix to easily visualize where the reagent has been added to your plates and tubes. Additionally, droplets stuck in the pipette tip are now clearly visualized and pipetting errors can be avoided. By a simple addition to your mastermix, VisiBlue™ is very easy to use. VisiBlue™ can be added to most commercially available mastermixes and has been tested using dual-labelled probes and SYBR assays.

  • Bright blue color enhances visibility during plate setup
  • Ensures even distribution and reduces risk of pipetting errors
  • Compatible with a wide range of PCR and qPCR master mixes
  • No effect on amplification performance
  • Easy integration into existing workflows
