The Heat&Run® gDNA Removal Kit from ArcticZymes offers an efficient and user-friendly solution for eliminating genomic DNA contamination from RNA samples before reverse transcription.

Designed to work without compromising RNA yield or integrity, this enzyme-based method simplifies sample prep for RT-qPCR, RT-dPCR, and other transcriptomic workflows. The heat-labile DNase is fully inactivated with a brief heating step—no additional cleanup required.

Description:

The Heat&Run gDNA removal kit removes contaminating gDNA from RNA prior to reverse transcription.

This ArcticZymes kit is based on the recombinant heat labile dsDNase, which is irreversibly inactivated at elevated temperatures. This enables inactivation at 58ºC, which is gentle enough to preserve both quality and quantity of all present RNA.
Reverse Transcription can be performed in the same tube, thereby minimizing pipetting steps and reducing hands-on time.

Kit Contents:

10X reaction Buffer
HL-dsDNase (250 reactions)
